Push notifications set up correctly

Alarm emails instantly on your receiving smartphone—for GMX, Gmail, Outlook, WEB.DE and other mail apps.

CampSecure™ alerts you by email. To notice an alarm immediately, your receiving smartphone must show new emails right away—via push notifications in your mail app.

If push is not set up correctly, the alarm email may sit in your inbox while your phone only notifies you minutes or even hours later.

Note: set up push on the phone where you receive emails—not on the alarm phone running CampSecure.

How to verify push really works: On the alarm phone, open CampSecure Settings → Email notifications and tap “Send test email”. This is not a test alarm—no sensors are triggered. The test email uses the same setup as a real alarm. If a push notification appears on your receiving smartphone within a few seconds, everything is configured correctly.
