CampSecure™ alerts you by email. To notice an alarm immediately, your receiving smartphone must show new emails right away—via push notifications in your mail app.
If push is not set up correctly, the alarm email may sit in your inbox while your phone only notifies you minutes or even hours later.
Note: set up push on the phone where you receive emails—not on the alarm phone running CampSecure.
Check before first use
- Your email account is set up in your mail app (same address as the “To” field in CampSecure).
- Push notifications for new emails are enabled.
- Android is allowed to show notifications for that app.
- Battery optimisation for the mail app is disabled if possible.
- Your smartphone has an internet connection.

Whether you use GMX, Gmail, Outlook, WEB.DE, Yahoo Mail, Samsung Email, Apple Mail or another mail app—the principle is the same. Only menus and settings differ per app.
